Tech which makes Sense

I love working with Submodalities. I have been fascinated by the unconscious mind since the age of nine when my brother introduced me to Psycho Cybernetics (Maxwell Maltz). He Knew that by affecting the unconscious mind anything is possible! are you here with me Does this excite you too?

When I discovered how the Submodalities work so easily and elegantly to bring about lightning-fast change, I found it hard to sleep, thinking of one possibility after another.

Let us begin. Get a pencil and paper, draw a line down the center. Write “Food I Love” on one side and “Food I Can’t Stand” on the other.

When you think about how much you enjoy a food that you love but no longer want to eat, do you have an image? Excellent. Now where is the image located? Is it near, far, right, center, left, behind you? Write it down quickly. Is it black and white or color? Write it down too. Is it a movie or a frame? Take note of it.

Location is an example of a Submodality. The “mode” is the vision, because you are visualizing it. The Submodality is the location. There are many more sub-modalities, but the main ones are location, color/black and white, film/still, image/pan.

Now go ahead and think of a food that you can’t stand that has a similar texture to the one you love. When you think about it, do you have an image? Excellent! Where is that image located? Take note of that. Is it black and white or color? A movie or a frame? Keep those in mind too. Good work!

Now, using something called Contrastive Analysis we can compare the two lists. We would do this to find the “Drivers”. Drivers are the elements that are different. Drivers are the key to changing using Submodalities. Location is the most powerful driver.

Let’s look at the difference in the placement of the two foods.

Now, if you don’t want to like that first meal anymore, what you would do is “map through” the location (and other submodalities, but that’s not always necessary for great results). What you would do is put your hand where the image of the food you love is. Now, remembering where the image of the other food is, quickly move the image of the food you love to where you keep the image of the food you can’t stand. Great, now think about what you were doing just before reading this article. This is called a break state. The result is “sealed”.

Please don’t try this technique to make yourself like foods you don’t like, the body has reasons for not liking certain foods.

That was fun wasn’t it? Isn’t it amazing how our minds store different thoughts?
