Tech which makes Sense

An equestrian arena groomer is used to give a great finish in the arena for two reasons. The first is to provide a surface that is safe for both horse and rider, and the second is to give them the pleasure of riding in a newly groomed arena.

The equestrian events require a good trot, and that is why these implements are used to prepare the base of the track before the equestrian events. This can improve the horse’s performance and prevent stress on the horse’s legs.

While in use, the Stines vibrate and can be set to a specific depth, leaving a beautifully prepared surface. As the tines dig to the desired depth, a leveling bar follows immediately behind. This device removes the ridges and at the same time fills the holes with sand.

There is a roller located right at the rear of the implement. The purpose of this roller is to condition the surface and measure the depth of the teeth to leave a consistent surface in the sand. The roller also leaves the surface with a ripple effect that allows both horse and rider to perform better.

Due to the fact that some arenas are small and some arenas are larger, these implements are also available in different sizes, to suit different size arenas. One of them is made with two rows of S teeth and is really perfect for smaller riding halls. An eighteen to thirty five horsepower tractor can be used to pull this size.

The largest have three rows of St ines and are ideal for even the largest arenas. This larger conditioner will require a thirty to sixty horsepower tractor. If for some reason a special size implement is needed, there are companies that make it to order.
