Tech which makes Sense

Many owners learn from their real estate agents, and choose to take advantage of some of the principles of staging their home, in order to enhance the potential and possibilities of achieving the best possible results, in terms of the sale of their properties. houses, for the best possible price, in the minimum period of time! We refer to staging as a process that improves how potential buyers can perceive the specific home in a positive way. In light of that, this article will briefly attempt to consider, examine, review and discuss 4 basic options/alternatives to do this effectively and productively.

1. De – clutter and touch up, limited areas: In some cases, only a little is needed, well considered, adjusting, to achieve the planned objectives. Before you start showing the house, reduce the amount of clutter significantly by removing excess furniture and belongings (store or discard) and proceed to touch up the most visible areas (many people can do this themselves). When a home looks neater and cleaner, and distractions and negatives are removed and/or addressed, it usually translates to better showings and more qualified buyers, interest, and hopefully significant offers!

2. Do it yourself (DIY) staging: Depending on the size, price, niche, etc., it may be possible to do it yourself. This DIY staging process includes reducing the amount of furniture and accessories, especially any that appear to show, wear or tear, or do not enhance the overall appearance of the home. This should include: paying attention to curb appeal; reduce/address any unwanted odors, and/or, eye – sores; touch-up painting, cleaning of accessories and adjustment of lighting and general aesthetics, etc.

3. Hire a professional set designer: Sometimes, it is necessary to hire a professional, recommended and quality home-stager. This process often includes: removing existing furniture/fixtures and replacing them with borrowed items; improve strengths and address areas of weakness, etc. However, because this is often expensive, if you choose a quality approach, the price range and the niche of the property are relevant factors, if this is a recommended approach for you!

4. Study and understand some of the basic concepts: It makes sense for homeowners who decide to sell their homes to dig deeper and better understand some of the essentials and basics that will add value to the transaction and process. For example, to show off a smaller room, such as a dining room, it’s often better to use taller furniture and larger accessories that hang from the ceiling. Understand how lighting factors, as well as where to highlight and how to minimize attention, in some locations, where some paint touch-ups, curb appeal, etc., can be beneficial, are key considerations!

Become a smarter home seller by understanding and taking advantage of the relevant and applicable aspect of staging for your specific home. Has no sense?
