Lighthouse pillows are very popular as a final accent for your sofa as a finishing touch to a room that has lighthouse décor or a nautical setting. You can use a single pillow, two pillows at each end of the sofa, or three staggered pillows for a nice effect.

Lighthouse pillows with a fade resistant material are ideal for outdoor furniture or an outdoor entryway. Some are prints of original artist drawings transferred to a pillow print. Since they will be used outdoors, a good layer of Scotchguard to preserve them will be a good option.

There is a good selection of regional and state prints available online such as the Northern Lighthouses, Middle East Region, South and West Coast areas. For states, I’ve seen images printed for Maine, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and South Carolina. These are great conversation pieces when you have company coming to visit.
