You will gain a deeper understanding of the ancient yogic practices of Pranayama by exploring foundational philosophies as well as practical application in this comprehensive 50-hour course. This specialized Pranayama Teacher Training Online will give you the tools to incorporate Pranayama into your wellness practice and pass on these life-changing breathing exercises to your students.

The ‘Cultivating Inner Harmony’ online Pranayama training is taught by Michelle Young, an International Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT E-RYT 500) and a YACEP approved yoga teacher. This means she is fully qualified to lead you on this journey of discovery. She is a compassionate, wise and experienced teacher who is passionate about helping others to find freedom from the tyranny of the ego and to awaken into the fullness of their spiritual being.

She is a professional photographer who has received many awards and has had work exhibited in numerous galleries and museums around the world, including solo exhibitions in the United States. She has travelled extensively in India and the Middle East and has met with His Holiness the Dalai Lama to share her commitment to spreading compassion worldwide.

In this online training, you will explore the benefits and contraindications of each Pranayama technique through in-depth study of the physiology of respiration and the nervous system. Through the course, you will receive detailed instruction on a wide range of pranayamas derived from Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. You will also learn how to incorporate pranayama with bandha, mudra and kriya.

You will also receive guidance in how to incorporate meditative Pranayama techniques into your yoga classes and private sessions. Additionally, this online Pranayama training will provide you with extensive teaching and learning materials to support your growth as a yoga instructor.

This course is delivered via livestream and includes pre-recorded theory and practices as well as recordings of the Q&A sessions for those that are not available to attend. You will have lifetime access to this course and can complete it at your own pace. However, it is recommended that you attempt to finish the certification within one year from your initial registration date. If you are unable to complete the course for any reason you will be able to request a free extension for up to a year. There will be no additional cost to you.
