Spider-Man 2018 is an amazing action-adventure game influenced by Marvel comics developed by Insomniac games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The game features Peter Parker as the main character, secretly known as Spider-Man. This article will take a look at the top five of the game’s 41 battle suits.
advanced suit
The game begins with the original costume, chasing the crime scene at Fisk Tower in Times Square in a mission called “Something Old, Something New”. The elegant skeleton look that blends into the suit with the large white spider embroidered on Web Head’s chest strikes fear into his enemies during battles.
The suit is unlocked during and after this first mission, you don’t need tokens for this. However, it’s the battle powers where the cream of the crop is. Unleash R3 pressure to generate Battle Focus so you can perform finishers on the enemy sequence.
Classic Suit (Repaired)
The all-time favorite Spider-Man follows throughout the comics and PlayStation One games. He made his first appearance in Incredible Fantasy Vol. 1 #15 in 1962. Web-Head’s first battle suit in the comic and later made its debut on PlayStation One in both the Spider-Man (2000) and the Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro (2001) games.
The Battle Suit is unlocked after collecting two Backpack and two Crime tokens and after completing the “Something Old, Something New” assignment. Two types of the classic battle suit; the first is the damaged suit and the second is the repaired suit. The repaired suit unlocks, in my opinion, the power of the deadliest battle suit known as the Web Blossom.
Web Blossom’s power is best applied when Web-Head is surrounded by enemies. Release him with R3, Spider-Man launches a 360-degree spin of web-strikes at all nearby enemies, finally stopping his attack.
stark suit
The Stark suit is seen in a 2017 Spider-Man: Homecoming movie and bear a strong resemblance to the classic costume. Tony Stark, known as Iron Man, designed this cool but powerful suit at the end of Captain America: Civil War. This modern GPS-equipped suit and arguably the most powerful battle suit, which is the Spider Bro.
The Spider Bro is a powerful drone that detects, follows, and attacks nearby enemies. However, it can attack one enemy at a time. It literally does the work for you after you release it with the R3 button. Fitting when Spider-Man meets powerful brute enemies and Saber International.
iron spider suit
Another suit designed by Tony Stark, who made his appearance in the Avengers Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home movies respectively. This suit is equipped with similar technologies integrated into the Iron Man suit. Those technologies used to create four self-growing arms, resembling Doc Ock’s octopus arms, to defeat nearby enemies.
Personally, this is my favorite Spider-Man PS4 suit. The suit’s design is similar to the Advanced suit, covered with a golden skeleton and a slightly small embroidered golden spider on Web Head’s chest. Gold skeleton with maroon and navy colors gives him a stylish look during battles and web-swinging.
Stealth Suit (Black Jumpsuit)
The Ultimate Battle Suit made its first appearance in 2019 Spider-Man: Far From Home movie. The battle suit is similar in design to the Noir suit. For the same purpose, both suits are designed for stealth missions. However, the Stealth Suit, also known curiously as the Black Monkey Suit, does not have battle suit powers.
Personally, I wore this suit in one of the Downloadable Content: The City Never Sleeps series, The robbery. The suit is perfectly suited for stealth takedown situations in dark environments. To add more, the battle combination between Spider-Man and Black Cat, both wearing black stealth suits, makes it more intriguing.
