Tech which makes Sense

I was recently watching TV and saw an ad for Akavar, a new pill from Dynakor Pharmacal that suggested you could lose weight without starving yourself. I did some research and found out that Akavar is actually a caloric restrictor. I had to dig a little deeper to find out what exactly a calorie restrictor is.

What is it?

A calorie restrictor basically makes you less hungry, so when it’s time to eat, you’re less hungry for all those tempting calories. The problem I’ve had before with losing weight is that I tend to eat healthy foods, but I eat a lot more and either end up not losing weight or I’m losing it more slowly than I anticipated.

I was intrigued by the concept of a calorie restrictor and upon finding this information online I realized what they meant when they said you can eat as much as you want and still lose weight: you just aren’t as hungry when you’re on a calorie restrictor. It was a bit confusing for me because I was wondering how you could eat a ton of food and lose weight.

Do you feel deprived?

So I finally tried some Akavar and found that I didn’t really feel that deprived, although I still had to exercise some self-control sometimes. I think the best thing about the pill is that it just takes away the jitters. I also didn’t get as jittery as I used to with a caffeine weight loss pill I took, but I would recommend taking Akavar with food.

Would I take a caloric restrictor again?

This is a difficult question for me to answer – I think at that point I really needed the motivation to follow through with my weight loss goals and psychologically having an investment helped me stay focused. However, I can’t say for sure if my weight loss was a side effect of making a weight loss investment or if the pill was actually working.

Anyone considering a calorie restrictor should do so with a sensible exercise routine and realize that this is just one step in the weight loss process: you still need to have some measure of discipline to reach and maintain your goal weight.
