Tech which makes Sense

A circadian rhythm is also known as the biological clock. If your biological clock is affected, you will have difficulty trying to fall asleep.

Here are 4 reasons why and how it can happen to you. After learning about them, you should be able to avoid these factors that can make you sleepy.

jet lag

This happens when you travel by plane to different time zones. For example, you travel from the US to the UK, which takes about 5 hours. By the time you get there, the weather could still be the same as when you left the US. The problem is that you’re supposed to sleep because it’s approaching midnight in the US, but it’s still sunny in the UK! ! If you travel to countries with drastically different time zones, you can expect to reset your body clock in 3-4 days.

rotating work shifts

Hospital workers or people who work irregular hours have this problem. For example, security guards who work during their night shifts have their bioclock turned completely upside down. They sleep during the day and are awake at night.

DSPS (delayed sleep phase syndrome)

When a person has this syndrome, they may be alert at night. Others will usually be fast asleep by now, but DSPS people can stay alert and continue to go about their business. They are also called night owls. Night owls often have a hard time waking up to go to school or work.

ASPS (advanced sleep phase syndrome)

People with ASPS tend to feel very sleepy as night approaches. They then wake up during the early hours of the morning. Usually older people have this problem. ASPS is a common sign of aging.
