Tech which makes Sense

As we think about learning to drive wherever you are, isn’t it time to think about how your driving will change over the years? With all this talk about autonomous cars and now there’s news that a company is thinking about designing a car that can fly too, where are we going?

I sat down and thought about what people were thinking when the main form of driving was riding a horse or in a horse-drawn carriage. If you traveled forward in time, what would your thoughts be on our driving?

Would they be thinking that we are all crazy driving across the country at what they would call fast speeds? They probably think we’d be crazy doing all these things. So what are your own thoughts on a car driving alone with you sitting in the driver’s seat reading or watching something?

Cars that are being tested to drive themselves are slowly making their way onto the roads around the world. So let’s put you in a situation: You are being driven down the freeway in your autonomous car and you see trouble ahead, do you get in before the car reacts to the situation, or do you see what the car is going to do while you? You have been told that it is completely safe to let the car drive for you.

In the world, little by little we have become more technical but also much lazier and, for me, much fatter as I walk less and more seated. So why do we need the car to drive for us? We have to learn to dive, even if the car is going to drive for us, we may need to take control. So why not ditch the autonomous car and let us do something while we travel?

I’m totally happy about the changes, but maybe we should step back and look at what we’re doing to ourselves, making ourselves even more lazy than we are right now. I guess next the scientist will start looking for ways to grow wheels on our feet so that we also walk less.

Within today’s world, let’s begin to be happy with how we are now and enjoy what we have and make use of what we have. I agree with hybrid cars, but I definitely do not agree with autonomous cars.

I hope you enjoyed reading this

Safe driving
