Tech which makes Sense

Planning a cruise vacation and worried you won’t have enough time to take advantage of the deals cruise lines have been advertising? Thanks to cruise travel agencies, booking last-minute cruises doesn’t have to break the bank. Cruise lines looking to fill their unsold staterooms offer them at discounted prices and let you come on board even at the last minute!

For example, Carnival Cruises has advertised a cruise vacation package for just $62/day on board the Carnival Fantasy. The round trip from Charleston sets sail on September 5 and visits Freeport and Nassau in The Bahamas. Disney also offers last-minute cruise vacation deals aboard the ‘Disney Wonder’ and visits Victoria, British Columbia and Ensenada, Mexico. The 5-day voyage starting in Vancouver and ending in Los Angeles is just $704 for an ocean view cabin and $554 for an inside cabin!

Holland America and Princess Cruises have also come up with great deals and discounts to entice vacationers. In fact, Holland America is offering a 7-day trip to the Mexican Riviera aboard the MS Oosterdam for just $73/day. The round trip that begins on April 9 from San Diego touches ports in Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas.

Royal Caribbean has announced various packages for cruise enthusiasts. You can sail from England to Amsterdam and Copenhagen for just $182 for an inside cabin or $297 for a balcony cabin. The ship sails on April 29 and arrives in Copenhagen on May 3.

One problem with these last minute cruises is that they may not always match your requirements. These are, in fact, the ideal choice for last-minute cruise vacationers when itineraries or cabin preferences don’t matter much.

While last-minute cruises are often advertised on the cruise line’s website, cruise travel agents can help you get a deal that’s even lower than advertised. And it’s not just about deals and discounts, cruise travel agencies help vacationers book a package that suits their tastes and needs.

Booking a cruise vacation involves deciding on the right budget, the right destination, the right cruise line, and the right cabin location. For example, if you are booking a cruise package to Alaska, an ocean view cabin would be the ideal option so you can delight in the sight of swimming whales and killer whales. Remember to choose a travel agency that is well established and affiliated with a major union.
