Any trip to Los Angeles should start with a visit to Hollywood. Grauman’s Chinese Theater and the Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame are the cornerstones of historic Hollywood. You can attend a movie premiere on the red carpet, enjoy a Broadway-style show at the Pantages Theater or a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The newly renamed Dolby Theater (formerly the Kodak Theater) is home to the Academy Awards each year and offers daily tours. You can currently see Cirque du Soleil’s latest production, IRIS, performing to sold-out audiences at the Dolby Theatre, which is quite impressive as the theater seats 3,332 and boasts one of the world’s largest stages at 113 feet wide. by 60 feet deep. . Transformers: The Ride-3D is a state-of-the-art immersive thrill ride that blurs the line between fiction and reality. Not far away in Anaheim, Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure are about to celebrate the opening of Cars Land, based on the popular PIXAR animated film CARS. Cars Land is 12 acres of high-octane fun for the whole family! Your groups can speed through all-new attractions, including Radiator Springs Racers, Luigi’s Flying Tires and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. Knott’s Berry Farm and Six Flag Magic Mountain are also close enough to visit for a day, as are many great water parks.

For another great option on your itinerary, you can choose from miles of incredible beaches that are minutes from the city. Right next to Santa Monica Beach, the world-famous Santa Monica Pier offers a variety of entertainment and shopping, including Pacific Park amusement park and a historic 1922 Merry-Go-Round.
